Amid the craziness of modern life, it can be all too easy to forget to care for yourself when you’re so busy caring for everyone and everything else around you.

These practices have transformed my life for the better, helping me overcome insecurities and put the work into discovering who I really am deep inside. Here, I hope to share my most practical, battle-tested tips for a life that’s truly outstanding.
My wife and I discovered aromatherapy together during her second pregnancy. She was dealing with extreme bouts of nausea, as many women do, in her first trimester. Due to her pregnancy, she was unable to take medicine for it, so we went searching for alternative therapies.
A friend recommended aromatherapy and we dove right in, purchasing a bottle of peppermint essential oil and a diffuser. She felt better almost instantly. The results were both dramatic and i It was like magic.
I was fascinated by just how big of a difference the essential oil aromas made in her experience, and began learning everything I could about these magical little bottles. Ever since, we’ve been using aromatherapy throughout our home for a variety of purposes including relaxation, sleep support, emotional balance, and purification.
I spent countless hours combing through aromatherapy blogs and websites, trying to find the best information about aromatherapy. Unfortunately, it wasn’t always easy to find reliable sources of information about aromatherapy.
Mindfulness is the practice of being aware of your thoughts and feelings without judging them. Mindfulness meditation is a powerful way to practice sitting in this awareness.
I’ve spent more than 5 years practicing mindfulness meditation and it has allowed me to get more out of life than I ever thought possible.
As we move through our busy and often chaotic lives, it can be too easy to lose sight of the person you want to be. We are constantly faced with decisions that move us away from that person or toward that person.
It isn’t essential (or frankly even possible) for us to choose the option that brings us toward the person we want to be all of the time. But over time the more we choose the options that bring us toward that person, the closer we will ultimately get to becoming that person.
It’s this compounding effect that makes it so important to keep the person we desire top of mind everyday.
